Nel quaderno didattico sono riprodotte a contorno e a piena pagina le figure più importanti della Balma: possono essere utilizzate per attività di laboratorio didattico, artistico, di scrittura creativa e teatrale. Ogni scheda è accompagnata da due etichette: nell’etichetta “descrizione” puoi descrivere chi o che cosa, secondo te, è rappresentato in ogni figura; nell’etichetta “invenzione” usa la tua immaginazione per trasformare ogni figura in un personaggio e raccontarlo.

In the educational booklet the most important figures of the Balma are reproduced as full-page sized figures, in outline: they can be used for educational, artistic, creative-writing and theatre workshops. Each sheet is accompanied by two labels: in the “description” you may describe who or what, in your opinion, is represented by each figure; while filling in the “invent” label, use your imagination, turn each figure into a character and create a story.

Design your artistic creations using the characters of the Balma dei Cervi: print the whole booklet or just a few pages, cut out the figures, glue or copy them on a drawing sheet and colour them with watercolors, tempera, wax crayons, collage; you can also use the scratch art technique on a sheet coloured with wax crayons, sketch and emboss a copper foil, engrave a small wooden board with a pyro graph … the possibilities are many.

Scegli alcune figure, dai loro un nome facendole diventare personaggi, ambientale e inventa una storia, un racconto, una filastrocca oppure scrivi una poesia; dopo averle ritagliate, puoi incollarle su cartoncino e utilizzarle come burattini, come marionette oppure come sagome per il teatro d’ombre.

Choose some figures, name them to create a character, choose a set and invent a story, a tale, a nursery rhyme or write a poem; after having cut them out, you can glue them on a cardboard sheet and use them as puppets, marionettes or as shadow puppets or theatre silhouettes.

Se vuoi utilizzare i personaggi della Balma dei Cervi come burattini o sagome basta fissare da dietro un bastoncino o una bacchetta alla base; se li vuoi utilizzare come marionette basta praticare due forellini alle estremità superiori (trova il bilanciamento!) per il filo e manovrarli facendoli pendere dall’alto. Puoi anche articolare braccia e gambe, utilizzando i fermacampioni per gli snodi e fissando una bacchetta aggiuntiva per il movimento.

If you want to use the Balma dei Cervi characters as puppets or silhouettes, just attach a small stick or rod to the base from behind; if you want to use them as puppets just practice two small holes at the upper extremities (find the balance!) for the wire and perform movements hanging them from above.

You may also articulate arms and legs, using split pins for the joints and attaching an additional rod for moving the limbs.
